Glenn Barnett, Vice President of Barnett Performance implemented HALSystems WMS as part of HALSystems’ totally integrated wholesale/retail distribution solution, called Distribution-Express.
After only four months, Glenn had seen some dramatic improvements in his operation. WMS directed picks has reduced warehouse travel time so that more orders are now pulled with 1/3 less people. And, inventory accuracy is over 99% with a goal of 100% in the near future.
Shipping errors have decreased from 5-6 per day to 1 per every two months.
Reports from the WMS software are used as the metrics for Barnett’s new employee pay-for-performance program. WMS reports summarize each employee ‘move’ of inventory. An audit trail is even provided that date and time-stamps every move by operator.
